A look at colorful attire from head to toe
The year 2024 will be known for historic political achievements and shifts, the stunning impact of Caitlin Clark on women’s basketball and the slowly changing taste of Iowa’s foodies and entertainment.
But I’m not writing about any of that today.
Instead, my focus is a wrapup of What John Wore in 2024. After all, this column is called “My Life, In Color.” And what a colorful year it was.

Let’s start with the winter season.
The 2024 quarter ending in March brought a year with mild weather — no snow in December and February — that let me wear short sleeves at one point.
The holiday season brought green and red. And “winter whites,” as in my white suit paired with red.
