I’m into the holiday spirit like a fat man eating cookies. (Sorry, Santa.)
Between looking at Christmas lights, dressing in red and green and delivering gifts, I’m one festive individual.
So I’m driving around Iowa, listening to 104.1 FM for 24-hour holiday tunes. I’m trying to locate the best lights in Iowa and wearing “have you no shame?” outfits that bring smiles to faces of friends and strangers alike.
What can I say? I’m into it.

Festive fashion takes place in December for me. I’m going to wear green and red nearly every day.
Most of my outfits are not ugly sweaters — but green or red suits, a blazer with depictions of colored lights, an “A Christmas Story” suit and even a jacket with gingerbread men.
I’ve got a few ringers for ugly holiday sweater contests: A cardboard fireplace graced with mini stockings and a holiday dinner table set with two place settings (including champagne flutes) featuring me as the centerpiece, wearing a turkey hat.
It’s definitely something bringing cheer to all.
